Dead Awake

The moment when your body grows colder
Awaiting...
The last warm breath,
You feel the darkness shrouding you in,
Perverted mistress...

You wait for that moment,
Alone...
To let go of all you've learned
Wrapped in the arms of your deadly lover
Awake in death

Eons to pass, infernal succession
Still entombed
The candles extinguished
The world of man, forgotten
You cannot move

Through ancient new born woods,
You've heard it all
The dying screams of the dying world,
Your lover squeezed you tight, and then...
You smiled

Time

What if the world would freeze in a moment?
Would all of its sorrow will be gone?
And what if the mind would awaken,
And all that would be left, is just now?

The light would cease to envelop,
Everything that is, right or wrong;
And all of the sounds shall be frozen,
Playing forever the maddening tone...

Some people, forever, stuck at birth,
While others in the moment before death,
What wondrous horrors will awaken,
In the eternity between a second and the next?

What beautiful joy in this stillness,
Forever alone and forever in love,
But all of thoughts shall be frozen,
No beginning, no end, not for one.

Dissonant Harmonies

Tick-tock! Tick-tock!
The clock rages on...
Tick-tock! Tick-tock!
Time stops for no man...

The metaphor insinuates itself
Into the mind of the tired one;
You cannot tell the damage it inflicts,
Until you felt the cold touch of this hell.

Weep if you must, but tell not a soul:
What once was, cannot be no more,
Touched by decay, even the voices of gods
Turn to psychotic screams of impotence.

Tick-tock! Tick-tock!
If you could turn back time;
Tick-tock! Tick-tock!
You would fail the same...
